About Rohan
I guide embodied therapy, hypnosis, and contemplative practice. My work as a transformational therapist brings together training in Hypnotherapy, Hakomi Somatic Therapy, and Compassionate Inquiry, with my background in Cognitive Psychology from UC Davis. I have over 5 years of experience supporting individuals improving their relationships, health and reconnecting to a deeper sense of purpose.
My path is shaped by lived experience and study. After my formal education and apprenticeships, I set off on a multi-year journey through India, immersing myself in the eastern wisdom traditions that mirror western psychology. I spent many months in silent retreats and initiatory spiritual practice. I studied classical yoga and breathwork in an ashram and explored practices of devotion, selfless service, and self-inquiry at the feet of the Indian saint Amma. I apprenticed in the Ancient Massage Traditions of Northern Thailand, learning to listen to the wisdom of the body from Taoist Master healers. These years of intense practice honed my sensitivity and attunement to others while expanding my energetic capacity to serve. I learned through Amazonian Plant Medicine Diets with the Shipibo tribe in Peru, deepening my reverence for nature as my teacher. As an avid explorer of the wild, I spent months climbing in high alpine terrain, culminating at the summit of 20,000 foot peak (Mt. Lobuche, the Nepalese Himalaya). I have led surf and free diving expeditions around the world- applying my lifelong practices of breath and mind control through real life scenarios guiding seekers in unity with Mother Nature. These diverse threads—academic, therapeutic, spiritual, and experiential—converge in the work I offer.
I draw from a wide range of education and life experiences to help you connect more deeply with your own inner knowing. My techniques and training provide a starting place for our work, but the transformation unfolds through a shared exploration. I meet you on the same ground and support you in connecting to the source of guidance within yourself.
At the heart of my work is a devotion to who we fundamentally are. Through a space of safety we open the door to discovery. We slow down, unmasking our true self, experiencing transformation that ripples outward into health, relationships, and the way we meet life. Join me.
